Group Plans to Convert Liberty Home into Shelter for Homeless Veterans
LIBERTY – Some homeless veterans in Sullivan County have been living in the woods or in abandoned bungalows.
But a local religious group is looking to help change that.
Pastor Norman Graves, parishioner Anthony Covington and members of their New Beginnings Community Worship Center are working to raise funds to convert a Liberty home into a transitional shelter for veterans.
